The W-103 Wedge® Downspout Screen

The Wedge® protects your home's drain system by preventing debris buildup from accumulating in the first place. Unlike expensive wire mesh (installed the entire length of the rain gutter), or over simplified, (and not very effective) gutter strainers, the Wedge's unique design encourages leaves and debris to become elevated and flow over the filter, keeping it clear so water can flow safely through while increasing water flow to the downspout by 20 fold. For best results, use the Wedge downspout screen in every downspout of your entire gutter system.
Should the Wedge ever require cleaning due to abnormal situations, it can be simply lifted out of the drain, any debris shaken out, and replaced. It's that simple.
